Hanging space

You can place hooks or other kinds of hardware that allow you to hang things from underneath the shelf. Another way to maximize shelf space is by using shelf risers. These metal or plastic frames can have space underneath so you can easily store things on multiple levels, great for organization as well as efficiency.
Open kitchen island
Kitchen islands can take up a lot of valuable space in a small kitchen, but they can also add a great deal of storage, too. As well as cabinets, you can also install open storage on one or more sides of your island to create lots of storage space and create the impression of more space in a small kitchen.
