Wilmington Granite Countertops

Besides our granite countertops, in Wilmington we offer several other types of countertops, all of which are highly resistant, look great, and provide in the long run great value for their price. Here you’ll learn more about our range of countertops.

Granite Countertops

A common igneous rock, granite is one of the hardest rocks out there. For this reason, it has long been used for constructing buildings.

It can be black, gray, white, and sometimes pink, and can be finely polished to achieve a remarkable appearance that maintains its high gloss while requiring relatively little maintenance.

Granite countertops are beautiful because of their gloss. And they are remarkably resistant – with adequate maintenance, they can last a lifetime!

Quartz Countertops

Quartz is remarkably hard, which makes it one of the best rocks for countertops. What’s noteworthy about quarts countertops are their outstanding stain and scratch resistance, which makes them ideal for use in restaurants, bars and the like.

Quartz countertops look a lot like granite countertops, but they require little to no maintenance. This is why they are widely used in bars and restaurants. Next time you go to your local bar or pub take a look at the tabletop. It will probably be made from quarts.

Limestone Countertops

Limestone is not as hard as granite or quarts, but it can still be quite resistant. For many centuries it has been the preferred building stone of masons in the middle ages, who used it to construct some of the largest and most impressive castles in Europe.

Limestone countertops are not usually polished, because the rock doesn’t hold polish. Moreover, they are more susceptible to staining and damage than granite or quarts tabletops. Limestone countertops’ advantage lies in their more affordable price.
